Get After It
When I started Coaching Movement Systems (CMS) back in 2017, I always knew “Get After It” was going to be the motto! I was talking to a friend and client and they mentioned what Get After It meant to them and I wanted to expand on that.
To me, Get After It means always striving towards a goal; continuously improving and chipping away to get one step closer to that goal. Get After It - whatever your “it” is. Your ‘It” can be health, fitness or sports performance related. Your “it” can also mean being able to accomplish a functional goal (ie walking up the stairs unsupported or playing with your grandkids or lowering your blood sugar levels). The goal doesn’t need to be some type of end point; it can also be about consistency; doing the smalls things right and doing it everyday.
Once you accomplish one goal, you set another one for yourself and work towards the next one. There is a level of enthusiasm and energy working towards “it”. I am always proud of the people I get to work with and commitment they have to Getting After It.
